One of our favourite places to shoot in Toronto is hands down the Scarborough Bluffs. From a photographer’s perspective, we look for versatility in a location. Some locations are seemingly great spots but more than likely there’s no depth to it… and what we mean by that is that the location is built for a few solid shots or angles. Once you nail those solid shots, everything is more or less the same and the well of creativity is pretty much dried up.
Not with the Bluffs though… there’s just so much room to walk around, there’s height to play with in order to get minimalistic shots. There’s greenery, sand texture, water, cliffs in the background, and most importantly, it’s usually pretty quiet which gives us the privacy we need to help our couples shake the nerves and get comfortable in front of the camera.
