Mai and Dan’s intimate downtown Toronto wedding turned out to be a mini all day tour of the city’s famed Queen West. It’s an area we’re more accustomed to hanging out at night for the good food and bars so it was great to explore the same area but see the day time charm of Queen West and see it in new light – literally.
We started the day at their Queen West home before making our way down the street to the Great Hall where they officially tied the knot in a brightly-lit, intimate ceremony. Following the nuptials, we hit up Liberty Village (another famed Toronto neighbourhood) to take some portraits with the couple and their wedding party. We ended the night at one of our personal favourite spots, The Good Son restaurant, where the drinks were flowing and the carbs were abundant.
We honestly couldn’t ask for better logistics for a wedding day. Each part of the day was a stones throw away from each other, the weather was great, and the food was orgasmic.
