Karen & Mike’s Winter Wedding Story at the Doctor’s House

Winters in Toronto aren’t exactly the winter wonderland you pictured in your head because of the all those romcoms you’ve been Netflixing – where the snow gently falls and the temperature is cold yet bearable. The Toronto winters I’m familiar with can be a little miserable, with the roads riddled with slush and the cold makes you feel like your fingers are about to fall off.

But with the right planning and attention to detail (they planned it all themselves!), a winter wedding in and around Toronto can be quite charming and magical.

Karen and Mike’s wedding at the Doctor’s House was a quaint and lively event that brought two families from all over the world together. The Doctor’s House and Kleinburg are beautiful locations to shoot in the spring and summer seasons, but I don’t think it gets enough credit for how scenic it looks in the winter.
